About

African American Faculty Connects

Message From the Convener

African American Faculty Connects (AAFC) is a dynamic and transformative new initiative launched by the Knowledge, Innovation and Enterprise (KIE) Conference, Europe-based premier international conference and networking forum since 2025.

The AAFC is specifically tailored to bring together African American scholars, educators, and researchers on a truly global platform. This initiative represents a significant step forward in promoting diversity and inclusion within the international academic community, recognizing the vital contributions of African American faculty to the fields of education, creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, among others.

The AAFC initiative is designed to go beyond the traditional confines of academic participation. It actively encourages African American faculty members to not only attend the KIE Conference but also to immerse themselves in a vibrant, intercultural forum where networking, collaboration, and the exchange of innovative ideas can flourish. By connecting African American academics with peers and thought leaders from around the world, AAFC seeks to foster a sense of global community and shared purpose.

This unique program offers more than just a seat at the conference table; it provides a powerful platform for African American scholars to showcase their research on an international stage, engage in meaningful dialogues on pressing global issues, and explore new opportunities for academic and professional growth. Participants will have access to exclusive networking sessions, roundtables, workshops, and panel discussions designed to address the specific challenges and opportunities faced by faculty in the global academic landscape.

Moreover, AAFC aims to create lasting connections that extend well beyond the three-day KIE Conference. It is an ongoing initiative that supports continuous engagement, collaboration, and mentorship among African American academics globally. Through this program, participants can build strong, supportive networks that help them navigate and succeed in their careers, both within the United States and internationally.

In essence, African American Faculty Connects is not just about participation—it’s about empowerment. It’s about providing African American faculty with the tools, resources, and connections they need to thrive in a global context, to contribute their unique perspectives to the worldwide academic community, and to drive forward innovation and creativity on a scale that transcends borders.

Whether you are a seasoned academic, an emerging scholar, or a dedicated educator, AAFC invites you to join this exciting journey. Come be a part of a global movement that celebrates diversity of thoughts, fosters friendship and collaboration, and champions the role of African American faculty in shaping the future of knowledge, innovation, and enterprise.
